The Journey.

Another poem? I awoke to the sounds of laughter all around me.  I had no fear and the laughter soon disappeared. I felt cold and lonely in this place when a hand grabbed mine and a voice said, “Come with me young man”. It took us a while to get to our destination but we spent this time on an education.  I saw faces and places in front of me and nothing looked the same. A voice then said to me, “things are better now”. I started to think and yelled for drink.  My thirst has not stopped and I yearn for more.  I was led to a land that flew a flag and behind it everyone lagged.  I asked “where are you going?” and then I heard that laughter again. This crowd passed me by with its laughter and jeers but then I found myself with peers.  They spoke to me and I listened. I spoke to them and they listened. When I looked them in the face they told me, “we are in disgrace”. My peers disappeared and again I was alone when up ahead I saw a throne.  Above this seat I saw an eye that cast a light that gave me sight. I approached with caution for I had seen this before.   As I approached and saw more, there was no glow.  I sat on the throne but it was not for me. There was that laughter again in my head and the throne turned into a bed.  If I lay here I would be dead. I ran away from that place and aimlessly found another space.  “here I am” said a voice, and another said, “you’re the one we’ve been waiting for”.  I was skeptical of course for I had heard these sirens before. I opened my eyes to this new place and around it stood Templars.  This face held up a light and called itself the ‘English for beginners site’.  Could this be the place or is there no Justice for all I have had is smite and I am right.
