What is music to one person may be just plain noise to another. The frequencies present in sounds vary, and to draw a clear distinction between music and noise is mainly a subjective judgment. Physics can provide a basic distinction between what we can define as a harmonious sound and noise, but it does not attempt to draw a line between the two.
