The children were laughing. John wanted a new bicycle. All the girls are learning English.

Complex sentences: A complex sentence is a sentence that contains one independent clause and one or more dependent clauses.
Example: Because life is complex, we need complex sentences.

Repitition, commas, rhyme, and capitals.


Repitition is a form of rehearsal and no better way than with rhyme.
When a rhyme is written the use of a comma is very important, because it gives the reader information.
When we use a name, we use capitals. My name is Scott, and I live in Perth.
